An Installation by Anindita Duta
B&B confronts the viewer with the willing and unwilling complications arising from the ‘consumption of sex’. The installation introduces the metaphor of bed with a ‘feminine’ identity wherein the bolsters (pillows) with their enhanced presence create a nightmarish disturbance. Materials, which are sourced from an organic base specifying an ‘unrefined’ quality, are responses that emerge from our multivalent experiences of seeking shelter in nature.

Very interesting article. Couldn’t be written any better. Browsing this post reminds me of my old chum. He always kept talking about this. I will send this post to him. Pretty sure he will have a good chuckle. Thanks for sharing! :)
