San Antonio-based artists Leslie Raymond and Jason Jay Stevens created a nightly performance and installation that immersed the Lab in the duo’s signature spectacle of moving image and sound. Each evening, Raymond and Stevens performed what they call “improvised cinema,” for audience and passersby, projecting on, and through, curtains suspended throughout the Lab, filling the space with their unique brand of mesmerizing video and soundtrack, mixing samples and self-composed work, while generating a series of automatic loops that inhabited the space during each following day.
